Never understood why majority of photographers dont let their client or model choose what photos to edit WITH them. Its never made sense to me. Shouldnt the client or model get to help decide what shots best represent them or their brand? You think that photo from the party last night where you have a double chin and your friend tagged you on FB is bad? Try having a photo go all the way to national publication print or be blown up to poster size for senior projects in college and art exhibits, without your final approval and the inability to untag. Lol. Ive worked with photographers that after offering my entire day to their services, only to have received one photo back and never seen anything or heard back from them again. Photographers that have taken a year to get back to me with just a handful of edits they picked. Photographers that disappeared completely. Then there have been some that shoot quickly, efficiently and allow me to see all photos on a cd I can keep. Let me choose which to edit. They get the edits back within two weeks. Those photographers are epic. Its just frustrating that you never know what you are going to get and have to just accept it. Thats the way the industry is.
