“Never want to leave!” Reviewed today NEW This hotel was amazing! From the moment we were picked up from the airport there were nothing but smiles and genuine interest from all the staff. We stayed in a deluxe bungalow that was situated near the pool and restaurant and only a few steps from the beach for 5 nights. The room was small but enough for the 2 of us and very clean. I would recommend these rooms for people who aren’t going to spending a lot of time in them, but if you can afford it go the ones with the private pool as they looked amazing and i would have preferred the privacy of your own pool away from other guests (especially in the busy season when the pool would be packed). The hotel itself is situated in a great part of Chaweng beach - close to shops, restaurants and an outdoor dining hall but far enough away from all the party goers to relax and enjoy yourself, you never had to walk far to find something great to eat or drink. The buffet breakfast was everything you needed with the chef making eggs anyway you like, as well as all the regular food you would expect to find. We also got a free al a carte meal included with our room which we sat on the beach part of the restaurant and enjoyed and were amazed it included entre, main and dessert for the both of us. Seeing as we had been eating Thai the whole trip we decided on some western food and my partner got the most amazing steak - better than most he had back home! The dessert was also amazing and we had a great night with a fantastic atmosphere. We also went on a mountain bike tour with some of the hotel staff at 4pm and rode to a couple of temples, a great way to spend the evening and although a bit hilly at times the 22km ride was worth the workout - highly recommended as they will go at your pace and help you along the way. Wi-fi connection was the best we have experienced in all of Thailand, yes you have to re-connect to it if you leave the hotel and come back but that is forgotten at the fast speed it goes compared to other places we have stayed. This hotel wasn’t just a hotel but a home away from home, all the staff saying hello with smiles and asking what you were up to just made it that much more special. It was so relaxing and I felt amazing when we left. We even tried to cancel the next part of our trip to Phuket to stay here for longer but our next hotel had a no cancellation policy. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else to stay in koh samui, we loved every minute and were very sad to leave - definitely will be coming back!
