Magnitude 4+ risk areas are Fiordland, Ward, Christchurch, Taupo. The Wairarapa Fault west of Masterton between the Waiohine and Waingawa Rivers is a focal location for Southern Wairarapa. Focal location confidence =low. Lunar modulation may centre this activity around low tide. Observers should also look out for quake activity in the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Tonga, Kermadecs and volcanic activity later on Yasur, Ambrym.
