New Montynews Web Poll Because the cost of fuel is at an all-time low, adjusted for inflation, some have suggested that this is an ideal time to raise the tax on fuel. So. the web poll question on our advertiser-supported website, montynews, was Shoulkd NJ raise the fuel tax? 61% of our 120 respondents said, Not at this time; 27.5% voted Yes, to pay for rep[airs to roads and bridges; 5% said, Yes, to pay for public schools; and just 1.7% voted Yes, to pay down State debt.
