New Review from a Happy Customer: I cant even begin to tell you how pleased we are with Island Appliance, and more specifically, Steve, the senior technician and Whirlpool factory trained. We have a home insurance policy and had 5 visits from 2 different repairmen and none of them did a thing. Looked at the refrigerator and then agreed with me that it wasnt working properly. I called Whirlpool who sent Island Appliance. Steve took the freezer apart to find the problem. He discovered some wires that were mangled and fixed those. Found an ice maker motor that was dead in the water (literally) and replaced that. I now have ice making and water dispensing. PLUS the veggie drawer and cheese drawer on the refrigerator side are holding the correct temperature! Never trust anyone in the Wilmington, NC, area other than Island Appliance! They are truly the very best! I can only give them 5 stars but would gladly give them 10!
