Newark Police are investigating an attempted bank robbery just after 9:00am this morning at the TD Bank located at 230 East Delaware Avenue. During this incident the blank male suspect presented the teller a note demanding money. The teller declined to turn over cash and the suspect fled the bank on foot last seen westbound through Traders Alley. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 25 years old, 6’tall, with a full beard and a thin build. The suspect was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with “Fitness” written across the hood. He was also wearing dark colored sweatpants, dark colored gloves and white sneakers.
