Ngoc Kim You were musing on blackboard about how to grow big trees with long deep roots on the tops of buildings, right? Here in Mexico where I just arrived today we will be visiting one of my favorite cenotes where the trees send their roots way way down into underground caves beneath the rainforest. So all you have to do is think of a building in a city like a huge cave. The tree sits on top and sends its roots down through air shafts (like elevator shafts) or winding around water pipes or structural beams. Or down the wall of the building, reinforcing it with even greater strength. The taller the building, the taller the tree and the longer the roots can be.
