Are you attempting to say that you had no prior knowledge of the affair before Mr Mitchell done the right thing and informed you of a looming exposure? Your not are you? Because if you are, you are misleading the Auckland people and further exposing your canary yellow streak by trying to cover up your covert mole role. Well? Did you know about the affair before you suddenly became aware of it or not? Simple question. No rocket science required. Are you also aware that the ACT Party leader is going to get slammed in jail for dishonesty? Is there no end to your irks walter mitty imitation and disasterous application of the Prince? I can tell you now, despite a flurry of apologist white washing of this affair and a deliberate isolation of Len by a larger collective who have much to hide indeed (two years is a long tme to keep a secret in such a close setting), this affair is far from over. And Im not talking about the Mayor. Im talking about his close mates who knew his secrets. I just wish we had an Editor with a backbone who understands the early history of the NZ Herald and the responsibility it carries today in this age. I mean, the biased shown from day dot in this mayoral race by the NZ Herald has itself, brought the NZ Heralds grande reputation and long standing into severe disrepute; defending the undefendable; losing sight of the bigger picture; allowing others to escape; destroying public confidence and trust; acting like punks like their counterparts in Europe. The main damage however is that during this race, the NZ Herald has actively supported Len Brown alone and continues to do so, bringing a terrible spotlight on to them with an elephant of an unanswered question. Are you part of all this corruption and spin-lying thats been going on NZ Herald? When I look at Miss Webster, it seems there is more to this than meets the eye. No excuse Webster. Too late to retract. You showed your true colours.
