Nigel update! My son-in-law has been released from the hospital. Lots of healing to be done, and will take awhile. Over 120 stitches! They are staying at a local hotel so that their puppy and kitties wont jump on him. Plus the bed is much more comfortable than theirs! A little more quiet too. They have him medicated, so it is hard for him to get around. Luckily no injury to his face or neck. But lots of injury to the rest of his body. And a hole in his chest! We are so lucky that his injuries werent worse! Hopefully he will be well enough to go home in a few days. He cant lift, and has to have help dressing and doing most things. The big concern now is also infection. With so many wounds he has to be very careful! He isnt totally out of the woods yet, but each day we think he is doing better. We all love him, and love that he is with us. He is our family.
