No Ice No Chips During the warm summer months you will want to - TopicsExpress

No Ice No Chips During the warm summer months you will want to chew on something frozen or chilly. Chewing is a bad habit, no matter what the object is. Due to the hot temperatures you experience in the summer, you may want to chew on a cube of ice. You should refrain from doing so. Chewing on ice could lead to: • Chipped Teeth • Gum Injuries • Broken Teeth If you do not chew on ice, you can avoid chipping your teeth, or subjecting yourself to other serious tooth injuries. If you want to have a “chilly” feeling in your mouth, you can place an ice cube in your mouth and let it melt. Make sure it is a small piece of ice, because you do not want to accidentally swallow or bite down on the cube. Apples are good substitutes for ice if you are a person seeking that “crunchy” feeling.
