No doubt that CO2 is rising in atmosphere and we are responsible. We are making the climate warmer. Some very nice and compassionate people are trying to raise awareness and make governments do something. More CO2 is like a blanket on the planet and it makes it warmer. Warmer earth makes more ice to melt resulting more absorption of sun energy and more warming. Cycle repeats itself. Ok, Here is what I did think, let’s talk about it honestly. Are we really as a human race capable of fixing this problem by controlling CO2 emissions? Can we drive in our comfortable SUVs and expect those 2 point something billions chines and Indians bicyclers to not want a motorcycle, motorcyclist to not want a small cars, small car owners to not want a powerful SUV or luxury 8 cylinder cars, SUV owners to not want a boat or RV, jet skis or even a jumbo jet on the back door (John Travolta). Do we really expect people to want a smaller house instead of a bigger house? People to choose less vacation, not to jump in a jumbo jet and not see every corner and every country of this planet before they die. There are CO2 generated for any consumption good advertised in the planet, do we really expect people to want less, buy less, waste less. It is sad but true. We are not going to make CO2 go away like this. It is part of human nature and the ego to do things that are bad for us. Smoking, sugar, unhealthy food, etc we do it all knowing it is bad for us but we do it anyway. CO2 is no difference. Learn to convert CO2 into C somehow or find another planet to live, you may have better chance to succeed. You are a human you can not help it. :)
