No holding back today... I feel like crap, so click off now if you dont want to hear it...! So the results of the ultrasound are inconclusive and the ultrasonographer was very non-committal about commenting, except for noisily sniffing and blowing his nose, and spilling gel all over my work clothes. I felt like an inanimate object, asked to move this way and that with no dialogue except an obvious case of the flu. More worryingly he calls the supervisor in to looks over things and they mutter amongst themselves about some unpleasant sounding things... which serves to make me worry even more. I ask questions but they simply dont answer. All I know is the lesion on the left is definitely NOT a harmless hemangioma because I apparently have 3 of those on the right, and the one on the left is bad enough to have displaced the hepatic artery...hmmmm... too much information but not really enough. So back to more worrying until further tests are done. I know worrying is futile but I cant help it. Have never felt so scared in my life :-(
