No, there is no Revolution Starting Tonight, nor will there be for the foreseeable future. Some of you may have heard this already, but last week, I was diagnosed with, of all the bizarre things, tongue cancer. At this point, its OK to have the typical response Ive been receiving when I tell people - the blank stare, momentary silence, and then the guttural Huh?? I will be going up to the Moffitt Center in Tampa tomorrow for further tests and evaluation. Then well know the plan of attack. Im not sure when actual treatment will begin or how long it will last, but I just wanted to take this opportunity to share my contact information. As a nod to the current century and social media, I will be maintaining a blog of my progress at joeshealthreport.blogspot/. Communication through FaceBook will also work, though Id prefer that be through personal, individual messages rather than a full blast to the wall. No point in boring everyone with every minute detail. . . In the meantime though, keep on listening to all the other great shows on Sarasotas finest community radio station, WSLR, 96.5 LPFM!!
