Norco Medical Supply....FIRED! Me: morning, Im calling to report a malfunction with my moms medical equipment. CSR: whats gon on. Me: the suction unit is not charging. CSR: well, are you sure its plugged in coz sometimes it looks like it is and its really not. Me: Yes, I have checked it thoroughly even used 2 or 3 different outlets and its not charging. Im gonna do it again to confirm while your on the phn. Hold on. (Charged again at a different outlet and still not working) . Nope, still not working. CSR: ok, well let Ill get one delivered to you today. Me: Sir, can you please specify the time today you are planning on delivering the equipment? (Its 6:15 am) CSR: Ummm...I have to plan my route and then go from there. Ill try to get to you 1st but thats not a guarantee. But Im looking at 10 am depending where you live. So, well see.. Me: Sir, my mom has a trach, and in a vegetative state, so when she coughs, sometimes she needs suctioning depending if she coughs it out herself or not. Sometimes her secretions can be thick to where her airway is restricted and she wont be able to breath and could cause death. So, this suction equipment is extremely critical to her care. So, I need it asap. I know its early but I need 1 asap not at 10. I can even come pick it up from you so you dont have to leave your area. CSR: stutterring...ok well let me call my supervisor and see if this is something I can leave to deliver. Coz not all equipments are critical. This one sounds critical but let me jus double check n call u back. Im kinda nee to this on call thing. Me: speechless. I jus said ok n bye. He called back at 6:49 am and says he couldnt get a hold of his supervisor but hes on his way to the office to pic up the suction unit and hopefully get to it to me by 9am. LOL.....Im so switching to Apria Medical Supply after I file a complaint. I have them for most of my moms medical supplies except for 2 equipment anyway. Supervisor, Leads, Managers.....please train your staff to understand your companys policies and most importantly the basic of all....having Common Sense. Wow!
