North Libery, Iowa -An apartment building was evacuated after a meth lab was discovered in Unit 202 40 Sugar Creek Lane on Thursday night. News reports note that police found items used to manufacture and sell meth, including pseudoephedrine, drain cleaner, Coleman fuel and Ziploc baggies inside the apartment. Two cats were removed from the apartment. All residents were allowed to return to their apartments after meth making materials were removed from Unit 202. Residents of the complex should be aware that their apartments may have also become contaminated by fumes from Unit 202. In addition to meth-related charges, suspect is also being charged with illegal dumping of hazardous wastes. Police also found a meth lab inside a vehicle at the same location.
