North Ryde- Report of child approach explained. Police have determined that the approach of the 13 year old girl was not suspicious. On Wednesday (26/06), the 13-year-old-girl got off a bus at Bridge Road and walked towards Cook Street. It was alleged that a white two-door utility had driven slowly beside her, a man got out of the vehicle and stared at the girl. Officers located and spoke to a man who told them he was visiting a neighbouring property. It has been ascertained that there was nothing untoward in the man’s behaviour.
