Not as exciting as Alberts build, but I recently completed a 1/24 scale model of the Vee I drove at Donnybrook and Bulawayo (Rhodesia) in the late 1970s. Front end, and engine and gearbox were from a Tamiya 1/24 scale Beetle. The rest was trial and error square plastic tubing for chassis and thin plastic sheet for body. Exhausts were 2mm solder. Decals printed on my inkjet printer onto decal paper then sprayed with lacquer and applied as water transfers. Since these pics were taken, I fabricated and fitted mirrors as well.
