You get surviving cast (in 2001) Dawn Wells (Mary Ann), Bob Denver (Gilligan) and Russell Johnson (Professor) offering commentary while an occasionally surprising cast play their younger selves and the remaining cast members in a walk down memory lane for Gilligans Island fans. Eric Allan Kramer gives an often spookily accurate rendition of Allan Hale Jr. and, along with the rest of the cast, you get an occasionally revealing behind the scenes look at the creation of this social microcosm experiment disguised as a sitcom. If you grew up with the show, youll probably enjoy this if you missed it when it originally aired.
