Not the biggest country fan in the world, but when its done right it can fairly irresistible. Thats why I dont understand why Billie Joe +Norah didnt have much more success with their Foreverly project; a covers album celebrating the music of the Everley Brothers. My favourite track, Oh So Many Years first appeared on their 1958 album Songs Our Daddy Taught Us, and with this version, the blend of sweet harmonies, rockabilly guitar and honky tonk piano counterpoint the bittersweet lyrics to perfection.
