Not the victory we were looking for in the bash for cash, but a pretty good showing for Blunt Force Trauma, going 3-2 and finishing tied for 5th with Ballistic...1st went to New Divide, followed by Motiv8, Jimmy Douglas, and Wrecking Crew (Michael Stuckey)....still an enjoyable weekend, as we had 10 of our teammmates, meet us at the hotel in the ATL to hang at the pool and fellowship...the others met us saturday morning at the field a little after 8am.. we lost our first game, and between corn hole and washers and other entertaining stuff between games, we withstood the heat and made it under the lights...we had to paly our hometown rivals, Causin Drama, and it was a hard fought one run victory...it came down to the 7th inning with drama up by 3..Bft was home team, but because we were losing, the controvertial flip flop rule came into play...i dont like the rule, and i hate the way metro does it even more...it messes with momentum, imo...I feel ya on this Brad DeVane...so they made us bat again, and we score 4...this puts causin drama as the home team, and we hold them for the victory,,, we go on to play Jimmy Douglas .had the tying run up in the bottom of the 7th in the last game, but couldnt pull the trigger...lol...good showing, guys....this team has potential to do some damage...next up in usssa state in wr..Bubba Seymour, Blake Wilson, Scott Thompson, Thomas Fincher, Brandon Steve Boatright, Josh Langer,Blake Mullis, Cody Martin, Johnathan Cesario, Robert Foster, Shawn Roller, Austin Bartling, Tyler Maddox, Keith Barker, Justin Green, ..... we were led by TJ Fincher, who only made 4 outs, with 3 of them coming against family and old team....the other two of my hittas that were in the exclusive .700 club were Scotty and Langer....great job guys, and to all our team...lets get a little extra bp this week, and win us a state...
