Note about Suicide - it does not need to be reported with details of whichever method was used. The cause of death is an illness. So report as such - This persons cause of death was major depression Mental illness can be fatal. It is deadly. Recognize this. Maybe more people will get the help so many need but stigma is built into the system, walk into a therapist office, youre below. But youre not - its the illusion of what has been told for too long. The more listening from the heart, being open to others, asking the hard questions, the ones that need to be asked, take out shame of living with AN ILLNESS, or being terrified of a label - will save LIVES. There is no shame in asking for help, and there is no fear to ask if someone is feeling like killing themselves. Ask, bluntly ask. If you think for a second, ask.
