Nottingham Equine Colic Project Nottingham Equine Colic Project are looking for horse owners to be involved in two colic workshops, one on Saturday 22nd November 2014 and a second one on Saturday 31st January 2015. They want people with a range of different experiences / confidence, but who must have had or cared for a horse with colic. If you are free on either of these dates and interested, please complete the online survey (takes less than 5 minutes): https://surveymonkey/r/colic101 The workshops, kindly supported by World Horse Welfare, will be held at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, University of Nottingham, LE12 5RD, on the afternoons of Saturday 22nd November 2014 and/or Saturday 31st January 2015. There will be optional tours of the vet school beforehand, and short presentations by experts and current researchers. This will be followed with allocation to small groups to discuss and share experiences and opinions. They have a range of people attending, including representatives of BHS, Pony Club, World Horse Welfare, Redwings, British Equine Veterinary Association, Donkey Sanctuary and Horse and Hound magazine. You must be prepared to give your opinion and listen to others. Places are limited, and will probably go fast!
