November 12th, 2014 Hello Friend: A wise man once said, “Children close their eyes to advice, but open their eyes to examples.” When we realize the power of being an example, we begin to see the future in a hopeful perspective. Hope Dealing is that essential example that enables youth to see their collegiate peers in an empowering way. Last year our first cohort of ‘Hope Dealers’ invaded the streets of Chicago empowering the youth and community to see beyond their present. The time spent on the streets, living in a shelter, mentoring in schools, feeding the less fortunate, and hosting a “Men of Color Summit”— empowered us to understand the power of ‘action’ in our inner city communities. We encourage you to take a virtual walk through our journey by clicking here: https://youtube/watch?v=DkEGc39rQao The time has come again, and there is a new cohort of ‘Hope Dealers’ from the Morehouse community that is ready to embark on the journey all over again. The mission of Morehouse College is to develop men with disciplined minds, who will lead lives of service and leadership. Through the ‘Hope Dealers’ experience these young men are privileged to put our mission statement into action. Subsequently, we cannot impact the lives of Chicago youth without your gracious support. Our goal is to raise $5,000 by: February 1st, 2015—in order to finance our round-trip to Chicago during spring break 2015. Donations can be made via “GoFundMe” by clicking here: gofundme/gvbtzk or through check-- Pay to the Order of: Morehouse College Enough Chicago ASB. Your donation will alter a life in a hopeless city through a passionate ‘Hope Dealer’. Sowing into Greatness, Corey A. Hardiman, CEO Hope Dealers Inc.,
