Now that I have given thanks I will complain and hit the sore subject.... That would be corporate greed... As everybody knows yes my wife works retail and no she will not be spending Thanksgiving with family she will be working.... Yes she is blessed to have a job what is not blessed is pulling her and everybody else away from family so people can leave their families to push, shove, kick, bite, and do whatever else to each other just to get a deal.... Its not a cure for cancer folks its a gift and before the negative is said no she is not paid extra to work today, no she didnt volunteer to work as with all her coworkers she does not have a choice... Greed has taken holidays away for so many people and I think its crazy... We need to get back to remembering that its a holiday to be spent with family and friends not at a store... Yes some professions do not have a choice such as public safety, health care, military, and the list goes on but speaking from experience I made the choice to work that profession knowing I had to work no matter what so I take that in stride and I am working today and on Christmas but I knew this 25 plus years ago when i choose this... She and a lot of others did not but the greed of companies and people wanting that big deal have made it that way..... So instead of complaining when your ouching and shoving stop one of these people and say thanks I know your away from your families too have a great day folks...
