Now that it is all said and done, all the applications are finished, papers wrote, and documents sent on, I can reflect. Its hard to believe that when my senior year began I honestly thought grad. school was a waste of time. Not because of the expense or low prospects of that expense paying off, mind you. No, I didnt think I was good enough to move forward as a historian and write compelling papers about well done research. But along the way I got some really awesome encouragement from several professors and friends. Without which I doubt I would be sitting here, waiting the dreaded wait, while my applications are processed. So shout outs to: Jon Dickerson Amanda Justus Randetta Fuller Matthew Shifflett Joshua Veldman Lauree Burnette Leyland Daniel Sawyers of course Brittney Frenchysings Forster Holly Andecover Forster and also to Dr. Burgess, Dr. Antkiewicz, and Dr. Essin at ETSU. I would also like to add that the Todorikis have been quite encouraging as well!
