Now that its sufficiently past wake-up time for those of you on both the east and west coasts, I want to know: howd you sleep? Check out this recent post from RobbWolf on evolution and sleep, along with a VIDEO from Dr. Kirk Parsley. In an upcoming project that Im working on (patience... I cant spill the beans on it just yet!), Ill be talking a bunch more about sleep as well as other lifestyle factors/issues we all could do a better job at managing. This problem is wrecking our health, our finances, our happiness, and even our relationships... My take: If we ignore the value of sleep, we are knowingly putting blinders on to the fact that our physiology requires quality sleep for optimal health. We may not all feel great with the same exact amount of sleep, but we cant deny that being under-slept isnt setting any of us up for success - in health, or in productivity, happiness, or any other facet of life.
