Number 13 has its own significance for BJP. This number is associated with the growth of BJP over the last few years. Bajpayee ji short stint of 13 days in Government in 1996, 13 months of stay in power in 1998 and announcement of NaMo as a prime ministerial candidate on 13/09/13 to recall a few. Surprisingly M is the 13th alphabet. The word Prime Minister also has 13 alphabets. There are 3 musketeers of NaMo that are with him in this Mission 2014. They are Money, Media and Manifesto. It is now somewhat clear that corporate rivalry between the select business houses in the country are fuelling and funding the Modi’s campaign with unprecedented and unaccounted money. Select media owners have aligned in this mission 2014 with Modi and BJP. Modi’s words are the contents of BJP’s manifesto and it is no wonder that a national party like BJP has still not come up with its manifesto so far. However there are other M’s that can pose a challenge to NaMo. Will it be Mulayam, Mayawati, Mamata or someone else? Will Maharashtra backfire for BJP? Let us wait till Mid May!
