O.k. Here is my and my husbands flooding story. I came home from work this evening and our power was off. A tree had fell before the rain. Wayne ask me if I wanted to go to the lake and take the boat I said of course We went while we was on the lake it started to raining , so we pulled off next to the hill waiting for it to stop. Well after a hour , we gave up and came back to the dock, at swimming pool hollow. There was a little creek running into the lake not to bad. Wayne went and got the truck then I went and got in he backed the truck down into the lake to load the boat. Well Im sitting on the passengers side of the truck he brought the boat over to load it by this time the hollow is running out worse and it kept turning the boat sideways Then all the sudden water started running thru the driveway and under the truck. Im already backed down in the lake so Im a little paniced all this water was scaring me I was just waiting to float on into the lake. So I called Wayne and told him to take the boat to the dock out from the theater by the time we got the boat loaded the lake had rising a lot when we started home every little road was flooding across the road I saw cars and trucks with water over half way up on them. We finally made it to Cowpen Water up our hollow was the biggest I ever saw it. When we made it to the right fork the water was over the bridge. We went on up the hollow and turned and came back to wait on the water to go down. Wayne said I must have the boat in the ditch it is setting sideway. Then he realized we had a flat. Then when he got out In the rain to change it our lug remover didnt fit. Then someone came along with one let us use it. We finally made it home.
