OAT Serengeti Safari in Northern Tanzania: A home visit. Our mens turn to dance with the host and hostess. Lol Like in any other OAT trips we were invited into the home of a typical native family as part of the learning and discovery. This is a middle class suburban family as opposed to the village people in the Ngorongoro desert area we visited at the beginning of the trip. Paul, the head of the family has a business of manufacturing red bricks using red clay obtained from a mine nearby. We had a tour of his operation and then he took all of us back to his home. He and his wife dressed us up in native costumes and entertained us with songs and dances. As opposed to our previous OAT trips, no food or drinks were served this time. We all had a lot of fun and learned a lot about the people of Tanzania.
