. OBASANJO BETTER THAN JONATHAN For all those of you criticizing OBJ, and praising GEJ, can you please mention one single good thing we can remember GEJ for? Nothing! absolute nothing; even the power sector had gone worse. OBJ took over from military; first, he spread the military bases across the country and stabilized things, there was never tribalism like we have it today, to the extent that even his own tribes don’t like him. give him credit for at least not being tribalistic; if not for him, will GEJ have tasted that seat? If he were tribalistic, wouldn’t we have had another yoruba man there now? There was no economic boom but at least there was visible growth; GSM came to Nigeria under OBJ. Mention one industry that boomed during GEJ. Nothing! During OBJ, you may say he was selective but EFCC was feared more than the presidency itself; corruption was tamed to an extent and our rating as a country went up. During GEJ, our ratings went down and that worse. It is there for you to see. Don’t be deceived by tribalism my brothers;mention one high figure that went to jail for corruption during GEJ. For a president to jail his IG of police, remove six corrupt governors under his party (not opponents), you should give him some credits. Please open your eyes. This government is uninspiring, lame and weak. When obasanjo travels, and stands with the likes of Bush and Merkel, with his Agbada, you know a president is standing there and commands authority. This president is indeed a lamb, no authority, no poise, no charm. Imagine South Africa ignoring Nigeria during Mandela’s burial, because what inspiring message does GEJ want to say? Jonathan government is appalling .
