OBJECTIVE OF SERMON:To see our lives and the world through the eyes of Jesus. Foundation Text: 1-corinthians 2:13-16,...but we have the mind of Christ). TWO WAYS THE APOSTLE PAUL REVEALS THE MIND OF CHRIST: The mind of Christ is: 1.Scriptural. It has its root in the authority of Gods word. 2.Spiritual:Submitted to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Jesus saw problems from the scriptural and spiritual point of view. The Caveat: It is not to say that we need to see cockroaches and address them as demons. We have to be scriptural and spiritual to have the mind of Christ. To be scriptural means to know the length and breath of the Bible-from Genesis to Revelation,and rightly apply them to our major/daily choices.
