ODell Kitchen Update: convinced that we picked the right cabinet maker, Profile Cabinets, the last decisions are do we paint the island a different color? Are all the roll outs in the right places? Are we actually gaining storage space? Why dont more people upgrade their cabinets when they are building a home? Seriously, the biggest lesson in the whole cabinet choice process was learning that a conversion varnish finish is a true baked on finish that wont get easily destroyed over time like most sprayed on-site enamel finishes. Worth every penny to go that route. As far as the color choice for the island.... depends on the rock that goes on top. We havent decided that one yet because theyre both over the budget. Surprise, surprise.
