OK friends...here is the timeline for tomorrow...followed by what we still need... I will arrive at 9:30 am..to begin set up, if anyone wants to help...at 10:30 the rally will begin on the steps of the City County Building...We are still looking for someone to start us off with a prayer..I will then speak, followed by a speech from the other organizers, Beth Peabody Fowler, and Jackie Page-Heidelberg. Following that, we will have music by Michael Vasey and Bryan Laskey of All My Monsters, while we distribute the green and white balloons for the release. Celeste Smith will then read the names of the girls missing, and a few words in honor of her own mother. We will then have our balloon release, followed by music by the band, The Compadres. I will wrap up the event with thanking the people who have made this day happen. I have asked Joy Kmt to also speak from her own experience. WHAT WE NEED...everyone wear red if you can..bring signs...collapsible tables? Bring some bottles of water if you can.. a bag of candy we can give to the kids in attendance.. garbage bags for cleanup.. duck tape to hang signs...If there is anything I am forgetting, please let me know. If there is something you are bringing, please leave a comment...most of all, please remember, this is a peaceful event...many Moms are going to be there with their children. There are going to be a lot of people there, including the media, so lets not forget the message we are sending, and leave any anger at home.
