I collected all that stinging nettle in the early spring with great hopes of crushing the dried leaves to make tea to match the taste of the one I buy from Traditional Medicinals. But heres the thing - it tastes like, well, grass. Very green tasting, not earthy like the purchased variety. Any tips? Is it the age, or the crushing of the leaves? Or?
