OK wildcrafting friends. I collected all that stinging nettle in the early spring with great hopes of crushing the dried leaves to make tea to match the taste of the one I buy from Traditional Medicinals. But heres the thing - it tastes like, well, grass. Very green tasting, not earthy like the purchased variety. Any tips? Is it the age, or the crushing of the leaves? Or? Im not really liking it as it is, though I might be able to acquire a taste for it...
