Sustained downpours are expected throughout Thailand in the coming week, especially in the North and Northeast as Typhoon Kalmaegi gets ready to clash with the Philippines tonight, before making landfall with China by Wednesday (Sep 17). According to the real-time worldmeteorology weather prediction, the rate of rainfall in Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi will be as high as 7-8 millimeters per hour, throughout the entire area, in the coming days, and as low as 3-4mm.
