OMG! Watching Fox News right now. A debate on use of ecollars. AKC is taking an anti ecollar position. The vice-president is the spokesperson for AKC, using such arguments as they are too stressful and their Canine Good Citizen program demonstrates that positive only methods are all thats needed. Is she, and by extension, all of AKC nuts? You cant equate advanced training, for example with field dogs, and CGC. Properly used, there is NOTHING wrong with ecollars (or prong collars) for that matter. One can abuse any training too, including a flat buckle collar.
