Observation: Logic, Reason, Honesty, and Righteousness Some may say that when you are right and truthful there is no need for defense; this thought or philosophy however tends to leave one open for discrediting by others in the future when your ideas may make a positive impact on them or yourself...The teachings of Master Tsu in The Art Of War correctly advises us to take the high ground when ever possible, if you find yourself in a defensive position...While debate is certainly not war the same principle can be used effectively if used in the following format.. As high ground has a base, and a peak one should seek and maintain the military crest, which is the highest defensible position on any high ground. This high ground should be constructed in layers which will stabilize and support the whole... At its base Logic should be placed, as the solid ground which will support the second layer, which should be Reason...Without the first layer, the second layer will collapse destroying the whole...The third layer should be constructed and maintained with Honesty; and this layer should be considered the military peak in this defensive posture...The first two layers are to be constructed in support of Honesty, as humans are prone to question its integrity when they are on the offensive... Although the defender might seek it in haste or foolishness, one should never attempt to hold the peak as it is a position of Righteousness...As a position of moral superiority it is a naturally unstable which motivates increased offensive action by the opposition...As such it is easily assailed which might result in the discrediting of the whole!!!
