October 2013 Newsletter Greetings! Our Monthly meeting will be Tuesday Oct. 1st at 7 PM at the SALT Clubhouse on Pleasure Island. We will be serving a light meal. We have a lot of exciting things happening this month! Our Guest speaker will be Jerry Mambretti Ecosystem Leader for the Port Arthur Marine Lab, he will be asking for ideas on placement of a nearshore reef within state waters. This is being fast tracked through the Governors office because of the work of one of our members Milton E. Cowart . SALT Club will have a table at the ABC Extravaganza at For Park Oct 24th, the event lasts from 5 PM-11PM, e will be selling raffle tickets to win: Henry Golden Boy 22 rifle Home Security System ( Generously donated and installed by Enfocus) 75 Qt Yeti Cooler Custom Talbert Rob and Lews Reel Combo Invicta Divers watch Tickets are $5 each or 5/$20, and for every 10 tickets each SALT Club member sells, their name will be put into a drawing to win a 45 QT Yeti Cooler.
