Of Peanut Butter Jelly Sandwich, Books and Ruined Fried Rice I purchased a Smuckers 4-pack of frozen PBJ Sandwiches today. I eat PBJ sandwiches almost every day at home, and hence didnt need to buy it. But something in me wouldnt quit until my hand dropped this frozen food into my shopping cart! ;) I cant wait to have it as a snack or make it a part of my morning meal - I am pretty sure my obsession with PBJ is the ONLY cause of my weight-gain! *sigh* Time to shed those ungainly 20 lbs :-( , but I will never give up my PB! ;) I also received a hardbound copy of Quicksand: One Womans Escape From the Husband Who Stalked Her. Now why would I read a tale that is clearly dark and disturbing? Because it is penned by my one of my favorite writers. She has changed her name for this book in order to retain her anonymity, and I am going to respect her decision and refrain from divulging her real name. I scanned the book, and now I am not sure whether to be excited by her prolific writing talent or disgusted by the human monsters who freely roam this planet, making the lives of women HELL - I just choose to be both! I cant wait to read the book and - hopefully - can hug this courageous and compassionate woman some day! #CushiestKittoHUGS Finally, I tried making fried rice - only, it looked and tasted like mashed rice, so it got trashed! ;) The following picture was taken during a 5-minute walk at the forest preserve.
