Of all the days that he could be in, Paul desired to be in this one He looked for it – he prayed for the church to receive what we have received in this hour The spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him He was determined to know nothing save Christ and Him crucified – to testify of the Work of God that was provided for his day But he also longed for something more – something to be brought to the church at the end For the grace that was to be brought to the church at the revelation of Jesus Christ To know Him and the power of His resurrection Ephesians 1:17-20 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places
