Offa is a typical Yoruba settlement. In Offa, it is better you offend the government than the community. The government will always pass away but your community will always be there for you and your offspring. In Offa, with or without the government’s assistance, we are growing. Today, Offa is touted as the second largest town in Kwara State, yet without receiving any assistance from the state government. We are used to self-development efforts. Our pride is intact. If you see anything owned by Offa people, it is not from the state government. Very soon, our vision for an Offa University will come to fruition. The Federal Polytechnic we have here is not receiving any support from the state government. We are not lazy; we are hard-working
