Officers in Aberdeen are appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery at the BP petrol station on King Street, Aberdeen. The incident happened at around 8.30pm on Thursday 16 January 2014, and the first male suspect is described as being around 5 foot 8in tall, of slim build and wearing a black hooded waterproof jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms and dark coloured trainers. The second male had his face covered but is described as being 5 foot 5in tall, of slim build and was wearing a yellow high-vis vest, a navy hoody, blue jeans and white trainers. Detective Constable Robert Oakes said: This is not a common type of incident in Aberdeen and we are appealing for anyone who may have information to come forward and help us with our enquiries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.
