Often the reason why people do not see results despite eating well is they are not prepared to follow a structured exercise routine. The popularity of, HIT, bootcamps and CrossFit classes are great to get people moving in a fun way with a sense of community. But, after the initial progress some find that they plateau because of the lack of structure. Randomised programming also makes it difficult to follow a well structured eating plan because you dont know what your carbohydrate needs are from one day to the next. A structured resistance based program will develop muscle tissue in a balanced way and build a good body shape and posture as back muscles are often neglected in favour of chest, shoulders and upper traps. It also allows you to dial in and finely tune your nutrition a whole lot better. That is not to say that there is anything wrong with these classes but, if you are stuck in a place and you cant seem to shift weight or get stronger, maybe rethink things a bit.
