Oh terrific....a huge pothole opened up on I-70 just 2 exits down from my house, and of course right in the middle of my commute to work. Took 40 minutes to go the 2 miles to get past it this morning. Turns out the pothole wont be fixed for at least a week, they are saying by next Wednesday, because they cant just repair it they have to repave the whole section of road (which, granted, really does need doing), however until this is done the 3 lanes will remain 1 and traffic will not improve any time soon. At least I only have to navigate this mess twice more before I can avoid that side of town for a week long break and I do know the back way around this mess but Im sure that way will be extremely busy as well. If you have to come this way at all any time soon, be prepared for a circus.
