Oh wow. THIS is what I came to South East Asia to see.... If youre interested in seeing it before it loses its innocence and rustic charm; before its Westernised beyond recognition, come to Luang Prabang, in Laos. The people here are gentle and reserved. The food is to die for. The countryside is still largely untouched. A couple Im travelling with say it reminds them of Malaysian villages back in the 1970s. I feel so privileged to be here.
