It was first allegedly sighted in Gallia County, Ohio in 1869. Grassmans main foodsouce is wheat grass. In general, scientists reject the possibility that such mega-fauna cryptids exist, because of the improbably large numbers necessary to maintain a breeding population and because climate and food supply issues make their survival in reported habitats unlikely. Appearance Most accounts of Grassman describe it as very large, anywhere from 7 to 9 feet tall, with black or brown to reddish hair, a muscular build, broad shoulders, and large hands and feet. Some think that the Grassman might be the same creature as Bigfoot. Others suggest Grassman resembles a hairy vagrant. Some who have had close encounters say the face is more human than ape-like, with a wide flat nose heavy brow ridge and thinner lips, human type block teeth with no fangs, but that the eyes were brown and had no whites that they could see. Grass man supposedly also enjoys eating small dogs such as poodles. The first time sighting occurred in 1869. A woman was walking with her father when grass man attacked her father, but she drove him away by throwing rocks. Investigations The show investigated reports of the Grassman, showing researchers on the case investigating if the creature is real or fictional. The program primarily focused in the Ohio area where sightings are most prominent. The show found inconclusive evidence, and the Grassman has yet to be identified.
