Ok Direct TV gets us again! Last nite I called as both our remotes stop working same time? Find it odd?? But still tried new batteries, reprogrammed, no good! Our lucky nite, due to good loyal customer, giving us a free-upgrade, no service call or the crazy box fees and i added a tv as well! The nice install guy said oh sorry cant program all ur devices anymore have to use ur individual remotes!! Surround sound, Bly ray, wii, all separate!! And of course he told me about it when I said r u going to show me how to work new remote! All our equipment less than a yr old $299 for one box & 2nd dvr $199 plus $10 per tv to access hd $8.00 for the HDTV channels per box! Really and now we keep going back to the stone ages of 20 yrs ago! wires, boxes & $hit load of remotes!! Omg I cant believe they got me!!!!!! Its all BS, back into a contract, need 3/4 remotes per tv & the KICKER IS.........LOST ALL OUR DVR PROGRAMs!! Im So pissed called & they said sorry they are all gone!! What about the 2 on demand movies havent even watched?? I finally got a credit! He said you can watch ur missed shows on Internet!!! If I wanted to do that, I wouldnt be paying $185 a month for tv!! **** I was so mad, went down into basement to sort thru box old electronics!!! Well wouldnt you know it found old remote, put batteries in it and it works perfect just like the ones they took from me!! LIARS!!!! ITS all a scam!! DIRECT TV & all cables companies are legal thiefs!!! Im going to be calling them back to give them a piece of my mind!! Not much I can do as we r now locked into 2yr contract!!
