Ok I know we are not doctors here. Let me clarify that first. But I am in trouble. BS is 539. The highest number ever recorded in my life besides when I was diagnosed at age 5 and that wad 40 years ago. But this is my issue: I went to the ER last night with an allergic rash that I have had for over a week this itches like crazy. The doctor wanted to put me on steroids but said my BS would be high. I said I didnt care as the itching was making me crazy cuz I was not sleeping. So today I took 50 mg of prednisone so my BS went crazy. Has anyone have a similar instance where meds knocked them out so far? Any solutions that worked? Desperately seeking answers. Thanks, and I know we are not to give medical advice but would like to hear about similar situations.
