I already find it annoying and rather inappropriate when people, especially authors, (author-friends, you know what Im talking about.) post things on your timeline that break all kinds of social media etiquette rules, like tagging me in promotional posts and pictures that have nothing to do with me or posting pushy promotional posts directly to my timeline. I kindly untag myself quietly or remove the inappropriate post without making a fuss. But todays line cross got me. Why on earth would YOU think it is okay to post a link for me to buy your book under my post celebrating my 19th wedding anniversary! What makes you think thats any kind of cool. Thats the fastest way to get yourself unfriended! Im already approaching 5k friends with a long list of folks to confirm as it is. Youve just helped me do little housecleaning! BU-BYE!
