Ok, Ive opted to share something you may not know about me and have been given the number 12. So heres 12 interesting things about the real me. 1. Im a girl racer... I like to speed, race and do burnouts and drift around corners, especially in fast cars, old bombs or even a truck or bus will do! 2. I have a brother who chose a homeless lifestyle at 17, who soaked his clothes in petrol and walked around with a petrol soaked rag to his face, until many years later he ended up in prison and eventually a better mental facility in Christchurch for his condition. 3. Im proud of my Murray/OHalloran heritage, and John & Catherine OHalloran my great (great?)grand parents who I never met are always on my mind for the legacy they left in Chch.... one day I will develop and build a massive property I will name Glen Tui after the property they owned in honour of the lessons I have learned through generations of people I have never met. 4. Im scared of the ocean and of having my head under water (more now than ever) after a near-death experience as a kid while camping with a friend. But I still swim in the ocean and put my head under in an attempt to release and heal. 5. At a rough time in my life I got a speeding ticket in a company car at 171kms per hour (thats after slowing down.... yes reckless, but at that moment I didnt care). 6. I remember every little thing people have done to help me, every word said unknowingly that has motivated me.... (and interestingly there have been a lot of Margarets who have really been amazing!) 7. My middle name is Arahia a Maori word with a general meaning pathfinder. I hated it so much as a child that a few years ago I changed my name by deed poll to Alys Orlando.... and have just recently been able to change it back to Natasha! My Nanas neighbour (Leola Hayes) who was an Icon in my home town for the Ohinemutu Maori Culture Group and for her Academy asked me when I was about 7 years old what my middle name was, she told me I would be a chief / a leader in life..... When I was about 16 (ish) she opened Arahia Academy in Rotorua. :-) Coincidence? 8. People think Im extravagant, and maybe materialistic... the reality couldnt be further from the truth. We moved back to Australia with 1 suitcase & 1 bag between the three of us (shoes, clothes toiletries everything we owned). I can live with far less than anyone I know. Yes I aim for wealth, but thats to build a legacy for my kids to be proud of and to help others. I dont own anything fancy or extravagant :-) 9. The first concert I went to was Kenny Rogers in Melbourne, maybe about 12 years ago. I have such a weird mix of music on my itunes playlist totally a reflection of my vastness I say! 10. I am psychic. When I was with my ex, I had visions of car accidents often, including one that nearly killed him one Christmas eve. These days all my visions relate to my legacy
